Starting the Journey

Last Monday, I received my first rejection from an agent. I could barely contain my excitement; I put myself out there. I behaved like a real professional writer. This morning, I received my first request for a full. Can you say, "Over the moon?"

This will be a long journey, fraught with emotional peril and false starts. But I've taken those crucial first steps. I'm on my way.
